About The Song

While I was recording my song “Taking In the Mood” back in 2018,  I was over at my friend & pianist’s house talking about other songs to tackle with him. He and his Italian wife Michela,  had just gotten the summer to themselves, as their son was headed to Italy for a summer with the Grandparents. They were giddy, like young lovers, & over wine, Martin mentioned that he was teaching Michela a repertoire of “American Standards'' ( Jazz / Big Band ). And that's when a light bulb went on in my head... a JAZZ Combo doing the song In Italian !!!  Michela politely said no ( She’s a Scientist ), But Martin and I spent the next 4 years putting this song together. So there it is, and here it is now, a superb job By Irene Mastrangeli on the rewritten lyrics & singing…Bravo To You
